I'm sure we've all had the experiance whether in our car or not where we hve a slip of the mind and toss it in park while its still rolling and hear "click click click"... if it cant hold at a roll no way it can hold at travel speeds.

There is a big difference in force on the trans when you toss it into park while already moving, or drag tires from a stop. There is no shock on the trans doing what the idiot with the ford did.
