First off, the pictures are of 2 different cars, one a little different then the other. when they do clay designs, they only do half clay and put it next to a mirror. The other side is just another version of the same car. It is in fact pictures from inside GM, but this is NOT the car that will be at Detroit. This car is anywhere from a year to 2 years old. There was a recent 11th hour redesign of the front end and several other items such as the tail lights, and other trim. What we will see is a car that looks like this, but tweeked with a more "modern" front end.
And yes, we got a Sigma-Lite chassis. Pictures show that the whole rear suspension cradle is exactly the same as Sigma, so that part of the engineering is already done. Front end also looks heavily based on Sigma. This is very good and will help speed up production.
