Jim, a lot of grading is still like that. However in classes like bio and chem and a few others, they make it so rediculously hard that they need to curve so that everyone in the class doesnt fail (no, im not exaggerating on the everyone part). In my bio class, the highest grade on one exam was a 70-something. they made that an A, and I think all the way down to a 30 or 40 was passing.

but there are always those ******** that have to ruin the curve and get a perfect score on a nearly impossible exam. i would beat the crap out of all of them if i knew who they were
