G6 GTP. Comes with a 6spd and a host of options that are right in line with the Accord 6. Same hp, more torque, and it has VVT as well. Stabilitrac is standard is as ABS. Lots of room front and rear.
Or look for a used 04 or 05 GTO 6spd.
you can preach to everybody as much as you want about how gm quality is awesome now but trust me accord > g6. i'm not gonna drive the new grand am. of all the g6's i've seen, they look ok when they're brand new but after even just a year they all look like they're falling apart. this seems to be gm's quality problem. they use materials that looks great when they're new, but look like they're 10 years old after 2 years of use. the same goes for ford, trust me my parents have owned fords forever.

my aunt has a 05 accord. it pretty nice has a little pep. earlier this year she had an 05 altima. i like the altima way better. it handled and felt alot faster then the accord. she got rearended this summer and totaled the altima. the accord and the altima were both 6 cyl's.
the altima is not a coupe

another vote for the GTO or G6 GTP. You can get the G6 coupe with the supercharged V6 and a 6 speed manual transmission
like i said before the gto is out because it is way too pricey. the g6 has a NA 3.9 v6 that makes 240 hp

why not an altima se R....if im not mistaking its just under 30k comes with a 6spd v6 260hp nice looking car....
sedan...

keep in mind guys, this dealership sells at just over invoice, which for the accord is just over 25 grand, so i could probably pick one up for around 26. i'll probably go out and test drive a g6 for ****s and giggles, and maybe a mazdaspeed 6 (i know it's a sedan but if they'll let me drive it i might as well). i've definitely considered a gto but even if i can get one for 30k that's still a lot more than i'd be paying for an accord. i've also considered a used 3 series, but i don't think i'd ever buy a bmw out of warranty...
