I agree with you, but right now I have 29 needle bearings from the damaged side of the trunion. So I disassembled the other side of the same rocker (which was still intact) and counted 33 needle bearings, the plan is to try and flush the remaining 4 needles out of the motor by pouring a couple quarts of oil directly down the drainback holes. If I can't flush out the 4 remaining needle bearings, then the motor is coming out. At that point, I'm not sure what I'll do?? Major upgrade (big inches) or simple freshen up or something in between...I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. Attache is a pick of the disassembled rocker and the retaining cup that failed.
