i remember my inspection experiences with my 88 iroc convetrible, failed inspection in oct of 2000, got the red "REJECTED 10(for oct)" sticker, motor blew, sat till jan. Then put the 383 in and drove it daily. Got pulled over in june for no inspection(still with the oct rejection), got a $123 ticket. got pulled over a week later for no inspection, with no paperwork at all on me this time(no DL, reg. or ins card), only thing with my drivers license number on it was that ticket from a week earlier, so i gave that to the cop, we had a good laugh, he let me go after telling me if the car was rejected in march he wouldnt have maybe pulled me over, but "october...come on now" in his words. I drove the IROC only at night then and I drove my STS in the daylight till August when i traded that in on my SS. good times.
