Or is it something more complicated/in depth. I figure, I'm getting this rear, pretty new parts, and getting the T/A girdle to put on it... so why not beef it up a little more just in case.

you have to put the rear in a fixture and run a bar through the tubes and housing and bolt the bar in. then you have to map the welds so you dont pull the tubes or housing out of spec. its complicated. if you decide to do it, make sure a dedicated race shop with all the right equipment does it.
