Not sure if I'll get thrown out for mentioning Zaino, but a) its a great polish
(not a wax), b) it works wonders in "removing" swirls by filling them in, and c) can be used on a new paint job within one month.
Most modern paints are hardened by catalysis. Paints that dry by evaporation of volatile compounds no longer meet EPA limits. Catalyzed paints are rock hard almost immediatey.
When I had the nose, hood and the tops of my fenders painted after the Ram Air hood install, Zaino was on there as soon as I brought the car home form the shop (maybe 2-3 weeks). It still looks like new, 5 years later.
