Yes, get a cooler, or even just make some ducting from one of your case fans. That's what I did with my front case fan, it blows directly up onto the bottom of my WD now. Keeps it nice and cool.

The page is ancient, specs need updating and all, but the pics still show the modded case fan holder in the front of the box.
