ian the turbo kit i bought mounts the turbo slightly in front of the motor on the passenger side of the engine bay where the alternator is. i am going to have to relocate my alternator higher up in the engine bay in order to mount the turbo but i will be able to keep my AC. as for building up the stock motor i am gonna run low boost until i get the hang of the extra power because i have never really driven a car with that much power, i think my motor can handle low boost so i'm not worried about that. i figure by the time i am ready to up the boost i will have saved up enough for some new internals and some truck heads.

ps- i did a search on ls1tech and a guy running a stock ls1 threw 11psi to the stock motor for a dyno run and did 700+ to the wheels. i am hoping for 500+ to the rear wheels which is looking quite promising
