Hey Guys
I'm just curious in a couple weeks i am going to be installing my
QTP LS1 1 3/4 High Velocity Long Tube Header's and i keep thinking about while i am under therei might aswell replace my Loud Mouth system With the
Texas Speed Rumbler X Pipe True Duals system
http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=196&catid=56
But i have been hearing conflicting opinions on if it is LEGAL in New Jersey or if it will pass state inspections or not, Including road side checks which i have hit 2 of in the past year in Teterboro right by the Air port
I was told by one person that in the state of N.J. and inspections your tail pipes have to exit a minimum of 10 inches behind the farthest rear opening car window
And a different person has told me that is is completely illegal in the state of N.J. To dump your pipes right before the rear axle
And the 3rd comes from a friend of a friend that they actually got a ticket in N.J. For having dumps right before the axle.
And the Last opinion i have heard is that in the state of N.J. your tail pipe has to exit at your rear bumper because of fumes entering the interior of the car ect..
If that is the case then How come on Ford Lightening Trucks their exhuast exit's right before the rear tires?? Every one i have seen does this and they pass N.J. Inspections
Anybody here Know any more info or heard any info that i havent heard regarding this???
I figured i would just customize the Runbler X piping by adding 3 inch in/out hi flow cats at the fronts of each X pipe so visually i look up to emission standards. But i don't want to go through all that trouble and fail N.J. inspection next year For dumping my tips before the axle.
I think i remember there is member on this site that works for N.J. inspections??? no?? or if so Which member is it so i can P.M. them or if you guys can pass the info to him to get his take on this
Thanks in advance guys
I'm just dyeing to run this system on my car it sounds so good
