while you were doing 120? i thought only mercedes did that...

when i was in italy we had rented a fiat Uno station wagon. they only have metrics on the gauges over there, so i had no idea how fast we were going on the autostradt (the big highway over there). i had the speedometer needle right at 185 kph, downhill it would just go over 190 (little four cylinder was straining hard to go that fast). while in the left lane, it is customary to keep your left turn signal on until you complete your pass, especially if you pass multuple cars. i really didn't understand this until i had a mercedes almost rear end me. if you don't have your turn signal on, they assume you are going about the same speed they are, which has to be 250+ kph. i expected that i would see ferraris and maseratis and lamborghinis but i was told by a native that the only people who drive those cars are "mafia". everyone else drives mercedes. and they drive
really fast in the left lane.
