horsepower doenst kill parts, torque does. HP is just a number generated by a formula based off torque and rpm and maybe a few other things. supposedly the 87 and up 700's are fairly decent. I couldnt kill the one in my 87 L98 powered GTA
. you do have a lot of miles on it though. eff it, just toss another motor in and cross your fingers
