My Cd player seems to be suddenly "sick" and I'm hoping someone can help me before I have to purchase a new stereo system(which I definitely can't afford right now!). First, while listening to Cd's in the player, it starts to sound staticy, almost like a radio station that doesn't come in. Then finally it will pop out the CD and Say "E20". Anyone have any idea what this could be? It's the stock monsoon stereo for a 2000 Pontiac Firebird Formula. At first it wouldn't work for about two days, and now it works sometimes, and then sometimes it doesn't. This happened directly after my car was sitting for 3 months straight. Any ideas what this could be??? I'm thinking maybe moisture got in there, but I don't know how I could possibly fix that! Any help is appreciated, thanks!
