Well I'm glad everyone has seemingly calmed down. Just to clarify, I wasn't singling out any particular person(s) with this post, I saw the same types of posts coming from lots of different members.
No, this isn't a formal warning, those will always be sent via PM/e-mail/IM.
In the future, if there is posting going on that could be interpreted as nasty/cranky/whatever, but you are just joking around, please note that with smilies. Seeing as how we can only go by what we read to judge the attitude of one's post, smilies are there to help 'set the mood' for lack of a better phrase. (plus I like smilies
