If he is trapping 105 MPH and only running 16's, theres something wrong. Maybe he has a very close gear ratio, like 4.56's in an T350 and has no top end speed?! Could be traction problems. Other than that Im stumped, but it definately sounds like his acceleration if hes cutting 2.6 60' times .
i was just going by the general rule - whatever you save in the first 60' gets doubled at the end
