I went to community college for a semester and a half. I was an education major and I liked the stuff I was learning, but at the same time, I hated it. I like learning new things, but I dont like learning what other people tell me to learn (aka school). Thats when I started looking into the automotive field. I met with a Wyotech recruiter and signed up that same day.
Looking back on it, I'm glad I did what I did. teaching jobs can be hard to come by sometimes and dealing with a bunch of little punk kids would suck. plus I would have to find another job for the summer time. Working on cars is easy for me, I understand cars a lot better than any subject I ever took in "normal" school. Cars will always break, so I'll always have a job

. Plus I got to learn how to weld, shape sheet metal and paint in addition to all the "dealership" stuff.
