fuel pump update

Somehow the fuse pump fuse kept blowing, checked all wires, replaced fuel pump relay, tried another relay...fuse still blew. Next I tried unplugging the fuel pump, the fuse didn't blow! All the wires from the connector to the pump looked fine, so I assumed it was something inside the pump. I contacted the place I bought it from, explained everything; he told me to ship it back and it would go back to walbro and they would inspect it and make sure I didn't cause any damage. He also said doing this for 5 years, he's never had a problem ie..a pump sent back. I guess theres a first time for everything HE knows I'm not BSing though and he understands I just want to get my car back on the road. So I mailed it back out yesterday and today I was able to grab a used fuel pump from a friend to borrow and see if when that is plugged in, if it blows the fuse. That will be the ultimate test which will be performed tomorrow. So if the fuse does not blow, then I can call that guy, tell him the new info and pass it along to walbro.
