You doing them in your 86 or 98 Z? is the car originally a 2 or 3 carrier?
If it is your 98Z and if it's an A-4 your car came with 2:73's unless it is a 6-speed and it came with 3:42 , if it is a 2:73 you'll need a motive ring spacer to make the jump up to a 3 carrier
