Go Racing or not???

those of you who know me understand that all i ever want to do with my time is work on and race cars. it is past teh point of being a hobby, i am completely obsessed.
that being said, i was offered a free race car. it is an older car, somewhat outdated, but enough to get me started in dirt oval racing.
the only problem is that the time and money invovled would leave a lot less time to work on my camaro. the expense is really minimal compared to what i was planning to do to the camaro in the next year, so i am really not worried about that.
it also wouldn't really effect the late night hours that i throw into working on the club adn events, so that is a non issue to me as well.
the only thing it would cost me as far as time is saturday nights from april through september, a few week nights in between, and if things go well several friday nights.
the biggest thing holding me back is that i wanted to have my camaro finished for power tour '07. with the time and money put into the race car i doubt that would happen unless i stumble across a winning lottery ticket between now that then.
there are a few options, and i have lots of different kinds of racing experience to fall back on(although most of it was many years ago) for the skills required. i have never raced on dirt or an oval before and i think that is the adventure that makes this so attractive to me.
