Hmmm, I never said I was a conservative. I just said that most people waste a lot of energy and it appears I am correct. Look at some of the replies from people who leave their PC on all day and then need AC to cool the room!
That's fine if you're hosting a website but for a person to leave a PC on all night while sleeping, then all day while they are at work is a waste. AC on during the day while you're at work is also a waste. Our office at work is set around 74-76 degrees which is almost too cool with the humidity pulled out. 71 degrees must be ice cold. But I'm not just making a point about AC, I'm making a point about wasted energy. Like the person at my work that sits in their car at lunch with it running. Personally, I've put less than 10,000 miles on my truck since I bought it back in October of 2004.
