Time for another round of good idea/bad Idea.

This morning I was planning on sleeping in a little while because I have a decent drive ahead of me tomorrow morning, but of course the plan always changes. My dad wakes me up to ask me if I will help him get things ready and whatnot because he busted up his knee the other day and my mom is still recovering from her surgery. No big deal. We decide that we didnt want to leave his Challenger outside over vacation so we would put it out at the barn at the new house which is normally a 15 minute ride. Well first thing first, the car wouldnt start, so I charged it up for a little while and then she started up perfectly. Just as I close the hood and latch the hood pins the sky opens up. No big deal, we have headlights and windshield wipers. Well the motor is a pretty well built 440 with some 3:90 gears out back and a decent trans. Its wet and the car easily overpowers the road conditions, but I deal with it. Half way there it really starts coming down, so I switch the wipers to a faster speed and wham they stop. So I roll down the window and am trying to push them down or up so they will get out of my vision, but no luck. The car is still getting squirly as i drive down the road. All the side roads flooded really fast so my dad was using his truck as the plow and i was rolling through the water after him. Now I notice the car is starting to spit and sputter and is not running correctly. We turn onto our street and I go to down shift (manual valve body) and the thing just shuts off. no power what so-ever. Now I am mega pissed, I am on a hill, trying to get it started and my dad never looked back for me so I am trying to push a 3800 lbs vehicle uphill in the rain by myself. he comes back and we jump start the car he follows me down the road we pull up to the barn and he goes inside to open the door, he pushed it the wrong way and the door comes off the hinge. Mind you lightning is striking all over the place. So, he looks at the ladder and points up at the hinge, so I scurry up the ladder (a metal ladder on a metal 40'x60' barn) to fix the door. Needless to say I am still alive, but it was definitely an exciting morning. [/rant] Thanks for listening to my crap...
