From what I hear the new challenger is gonna be a beast weight wise. The GTO was the first true muscle car, the Chevelle didnt get as much recognition that year because the cubic inches were kept to 327 while the poncho 389 was the preffered engine. But what most dont know about is the few 64 SS Chevelles that came from the factory with a special package that involved a 370 horse Vette engine backed by a 4speed.
The numbers were extremly low, but they weighted 2900 lbs in hardtop form and 3250 in convertible form compared to the GTO's hefty 3800 lbs. Ughh to be back in the mid 60s and see this stuff unfold.
