not cool....
most stuff with government keeping tabs on us i never cared about.. i don't care if they monitor my phone conversations, text messages, emails, or any other form of correspondence.. i have NOTHING to hide with regards to any of that, and in fact, i feel slightly safer knowing that they have the potential to catch terrorists and the like using these methods. Installing black boxes on planes is wonderful, but putting something like that in each of our cars?
Maybe i'm slightly biased here because i, like many of you, occasionally travel at an excessive rate of speed and hope not to get caught. However, if this was such a huge problem, I would think that in all my years of driving, I would have gotten more than 1 ticket that eventually got dropped. Every other time I've been pulled over, I usually got a warning, a ticket for something else, or a slap on the wrist. Now they're bringing the detection of speeders up to a similar level as the detection of terrorists? Only difference is, according to this, they'll prosecute everyone, not just weed out the stuff they're looking for.
That's a big huge pile of ********.
