I forgot who said it, but in the other thread, they said they had no problem with the goverment tapping your phone and info, because you have nothing to hide, but now they are tapping into your driving, where we sometimes do break the law. Its the same thing, goverment is invading your privacy, for the sake of "saftey" or whatever.
Just like tapping phones is helping trap terrorists, tapping cars will help keep speeders and other bad drivers off the road...keeping everyone safe. Arent you willing to give up your privacy for that?

that was your loving sister who said it. and are you saying that speeders are as much of a threat to society as terrorists? I'm not even talking people who drive 90-100+ mph, i'm talking about those of us who typically travel 75-80 mph, which is how fast you have to drive in a lot of places to avoid being run over... sure, the possibility of an accident is there, but think of all the people who do it vs the number that cause an accident.. and then think about how plans made by terrorists would be 100% effective at killing people if they were not caught. The same? I think not.
