the black boxes that are in cars now store crash data mostly.

Cell phone GPS can be turned off, its pretty simple actually. I'm sure there is a way to disable the GPS feature or the "black box" so that "they" either wont know how fast you were going or they wont be able to prove it because the box was disabled.

but this also raises the question....if the black box knows if you're wearing your seat belt, how fast your going and in what direction, would there be a provision in there to detect if the computer has been tampered with? If there will be that will mean car dealerships will have to notify the corporate office before they flash a PCM. it would also mean aftermarket tuners would be SOL.
