Rodders really can do neat, innovative stuff, they have less preceived boundries. You can get so many cool little (and big) ideas from them. They even jumped on EFI well before muscle car guys, just the way the jumped ont he flathead Ford, and then dumped that for the SBC.
That rod needs to be chopped


I never new that they realy did that back then, I always thought the whole "rat" rod was started by a few guys that were sick of 10 grand paint jobs on hot rods..

I was watching either american hot rod or automaniac when they talked about it..

theirs a family of car guys by my work that have cars in their back yard their gonna restore, restored gmc verisons of the elcamino in the front, a blue firebird vert and a hot rod their workin on now.
