yes, any out of state ticket is only 2 points here in NJ,
i got one also from VA like 2.5 years ago.. speeding 80 in a 65, i wasnt gonna argue with the cop. I called up the number on the "ticket" it was i think 90 something, i sent the payment and that was it. A little over a year or so after that i had a few cops check my license and i had no points anymore(2 come off every year if no new moving violations). This winter it'll be 3 years and it'll finally wipe the last of my insurance points away(those last 3 years)
when i go out to Detroit to visit my sister, i really disregard the speed limit in since MI is one of 4 states or so that dont transfer ANY points to the other states.
