depending on options and condition of parts kelly blue book lists the trade in value as 3700 if well optioned and in prefect shape. they show the private party value in average consition with the most common options as being around $5000.
noah seems to be thinking along the right lines. if you decide to get rid of it find out what the dealer will give you for it as a trade and then put a sign on it for the common private party value. worst case scenario is that someone gives you what the dealer was gonna give ya, but you will know the car is going to a good home instead of some faceless dealership lot.
