At 15, I probably had $100-200. I didn't start working till 16 where I made $7/hr and didn't do too well of a job of saving. My first few months of paychecks went towards a home theatre system that I bought piece by piece, in the end totaling $2000 by the time it was complete. Then I finally started to save as I figured I wanted to have a car by the time I got my liscence at 17. So I managed to save up another $2000 while looking for a third gen, but spent most of that on an '83 Datsun 280zx. After that I ended up picking up a second part time job and started saving for a hot air Buick Grand National. But I ended up totaling the Datsun and spent the insurance money on my second gen instead
