This is the NEW Commodore built off teh VE chassis. The GTO/Monaro along with its last gen Commodore and other RWD Holdens were built off the VZ platform. VE and Zeta will have a lot in common.
Of course it will have a Pontiac-ized face. There have been rumors of this car coming to the US, but this is the first word out of GM.

Mostly likely will be V8 only, choice of trans will be a 6spd auto or 6spd manual trans. IRS rear Multi-link, different then the trailing arm set up of the GTO. It will also have all the saftey stuff such as dual -stage air bags, tire pressure sensors, side curtain air aigs, as well as other neat-o things like navigation, OnStart, heated seats, Stabilitrac, and some other things.
