How did Holley end up with pins in her leg?

she's been a problem child all her life, but luckily this wasnt as bad as we expected. Apparently the bone grew back as it was supposed to and pushed the pin out so it was poking her once in a while. The vet gave her local anasthesia today and just pulled it out, now she's a very very happy 9 year old puppy. He said it happens often, sometimes the pins can stay in, other times they push out.
And thanks guys on the congrats. the 1.088 60' was awesome, but honestly, strapped in there like that, its hard to tell the difference between 7.90s and a high 7.70... and there's always been a rumor/joke that atcos 60' is really only 55

because EVERYONE always has their best 60's there. I'm typically 1.11 at island, 3 hundredths is a LOT to pick up.
