another site im on has a supporting member thing where you get an avatar, bigger PM box, access to a forum hidden to others, and some other stuff for whatever the cost of their membership package is. i didnt have to pay it, i do their calendar too, but i know the cost of running a website isnt cheap.

after saying this you mean that you've donated to the site. otherwise our methods of raising funds are no better, they just make tim and justin poor.
