kasey, you arwe looking for a bolt on hood and then youd just remove the latch and use hood pins.

a true pin-on aka lift off hood would eb the lightest, I had a few on several of my cars and never had any issues. they are very light and you shouldnt have any problems removing one yourself.

btw, when i was gonna do a hood for my 94 Z28, i was gonna get a glasstek one. but that was a 4" pin-on for $300+shipping. They dont have a stock style flat version but they do have a factory ss style hood for 93-97 pin-on hood for $300(bolt on $530)+shipping(from illinois)

edit: btw if you had a 98+, they have a flat pin on hood for $260 (front end swap ftw? lol)
