Strange I thought Motive Gears made the GM OEM gears
And the difference in price between regular Motive gears and the GM Motive gears was because GM required a higher quality Ring & Pinion that didnt require a break in period after the install...They wanted a install and go Gear..
Vs the Standard Performance Motive gears that are cheaper and have a Bore coating on the Ring & Pinion from Manufacturing that require a break in after the install
