I have two engines out there with the weiand 142's on them.. well over 2 seasons on both.. Main thing to look out for is internal gear box pressure pushing oil out of the front seal.. Both are on trucks that weigh over 4000lbs and both truck are in the 12's. 142 would be fine with a 350 but if you plan on going to a big block you are talking apples to oranges and would need to change blowers anyway... Build it once and do the big block now.
