airbrushing is NOT a cheap hobby, just letting you know. If you start out with a cheap brush, you will pay for it in frustration. That said, I would seriously look at Iwata's airbrushes, I have an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS, its about the best 'budget' brush they make from what i've heard.. it ran me right around 100 bucks i think (i bought it this summer at a convention, i spent so much money my head was spinning so i dont recall what it was exactly).

If you really want to get into it, check out airbrushaction.com, and if you like the articles, i would highly suggest a subscription to the magazine. Its bi-monthly, but they have so many tips, tricks, ideas, and comparison tests between paints, brushes, compressors, supplies, everything you could ever need. Check out different forums too. I havent had time to be active on any, but i know they're out there.

Paint is also not cheap, and i don't know enough on the topic to try to point you in any direction. I use House of Kolors paint personally. I like the way it sprays and of course the colors they have are phenomenal.
