eric, the kid tried racing a camaro SS, he lost control, almost killed himself right there, had serious injuries, had to be dependent on his mom and learned alot about his actions and that life "IS" short.... at least thats what i got out of it, i skimmed the last 2 paragraphs because i wanted to hurry to write my opinion of this story... lol
anyways... i think the kid was and still is an idiot, ok so he learned he acted stupid and dealt with the consequences. I will almost garuntee that everyone who does any type of dumb action and it ends in a bad outcome, they regret it too. Other people who race and crash always say this, this guys opinion/story means nothing to me. Maybe i'm just being harsh, but some of us know better. When i had my 1st GTA, i lost control the 2nd day i had it, i got lucky. i learned something that day but thats a given. This idiot almost killed himself, but i dotn think he realizes how lucky he is that he didnt kill anyone else, and i dont mean just his friend, what about the camaro, those people may not have even been racing him. Ive had cars mess with me and i didnt even bother but theyd fly away acting cool. and even aside from the camaro, "a car ahead" of him, or other cars as he was "sliding sideways down the expressway at 70mph". He could have hit a car with an innocent family in it and ruined many other lives. He just got lucky. In the end he says "Just like anything and everything in life, there is a time and place(for racing/speeding...keep it at the track)"... um yea... many of us have known this for a long time and it didnt take us wrecking a car and putting our/other peoples lives on the line.
