i think the problem in a lot of towns is having not just an unregistered vehicle, but an uninsured one, since you have to have insurance to register. im not sure if it matters if its drivable or not.. having an uninsured vehicle on your property is a liability some how, since its not covered under homeowners insurance if something happens with it while its there. (i think)

also, a lot of towns have some kind of law that you have to keep your property 'maintained' and like pleasing to the eye or some ********* like that.. similar to if you let your lawn grow out of control and it covers the house and makes your block look like hell you can get a summons.

heres an idea.. put a privacy fence up all around your yard so they cant see ANYTHING.. then make them wonder what the hell you're doing back there.
