Don't do it! VW's are 50/50 chance of getting a good one/bad one. Although most of the people I know got a bad one. Only 1 person I know appears to have gotten a good one and I don't even trust what he says since he would never admit it was a problem car. His Passat left him stranded once and he was the only person to get a good VW.
One guy I work with finally got his Jetta taken back by the dealer under the lemon law, another guy has had his Passat wagon in the shop tons of times, my older brother's VW was a total POS that he lost a ton of money on in the end. If your first car held up, then you've already had your 50% chance of a good car.
