After a racing incident on the highway my T-56 Transmission seems to have an issue. I was hoping maybe someone could point me in the right direction. Basically when the Tranny goes into 5th and 6th gear the shifter feels like it wants to pull out of gear. It still stays in gear but the shifter comes back a little. When I hit the accelerator the shifter goes back all the way like it should but then immediately comes back a little when I let off of the accelerator. This is my first manual so I am a little unfamiliar with all of the pieces involved in the manual transmission. I am familiar with the basic terms. Also when shifting from 4th to 5th gear and from 5th to 6th gear the gears grind unless I hold the clutch pedal in for a few seconds. Anyones help in this matter would be very much appreciated.
