I'm laughing, because I'm the one that came up with that petition 4 years ago. The only thing I did with it was send it, via email link, to Acting Governor Cody, as a money-saving idea for the state. He asked for ideas and this was mine, but all I got was a
thank you for the idea response. Yeah, I didn't try too hard with this one, but maybe somebody else can.
I think online petitions do not have as much weight as actual signed petitions, because they don't have actual signatures. Anybody can just get on the website and type in fictional names to exaggerate the number of people who support the petition.
It's also funny that I've seen other people on that petition website use my petition as a template for their own state.
