Angry Springtime yardwork has begun!

I got home from work and decided it was time to clean up the dog's handywork. She appears to be very efficient as the 60 lb bag of dogfood seems to have turned into 50 lbs of . So I'm picking up her fertilizer and notice there are patches of grass and weeds already dark green and growing like crazy. So out comes the mower for the first cut of the year(a quick spark plug cleaning and it fired up on the first pull). And as I'm cutting I notice that there is a ton of chickweed growing like crazy! So next I grab the sprayer and the chickweed/clover killer and end up spending an hour spraying most of the back yard. It's way too early to have to spray weed killer. So much for working on the car(s) after work.
