Were you selling it as a "bare block or a "bare block assembly" The part number on an engine block is just that the bare block. From the very beginning of the correspondance associated with the transaction was it ever said that the sale was exclusivly for that of the block or was it said he wanted the block assembly, if it was for the block assembly there would be additional parts included in the sale. Sounds like a potential case of lack of communication, I have a girlfriend so I know it all too well. GM allowes you to buy a motor in many different ways, just teh part (block) the base assembly (bare block assembly) or short block or long block etc etc. If the origional agreement was for just the block and the buyer wanted additional parts to make up a bare block assembly and never specified that you can go tell him he should be more precice in convaying what he wants when he orderes something. If he continues to have a problem i always found it to be in my best interest by threatining them with bodely harm but not on e-mail or any other traceable means. If i were to sell a block i would be up front with what parts (if any) are included or not included.
