I don't think ARod is a bad player at all. I like him in NY, but he has had his problems. He did have a major issue with making things happen in clutch situations. When the game was on the line, or a situation where there were runners in scoring position, ARod had a bad habbit of getting out, especially hitting into double plays. I think NY expected him to do what Sheffield really did in 04 and 05, make plays happen. He is hitting the long ball, he is driving runs in, and his average is good, it's just the clutch situations. I think a lot of people think of it like this; if NY is paying him a quarter BILLION dollars, ARod better be winning every game, and making me ****ing pancakes every morning. You can't expect one guy to do everything, but for that kind of money, people are expecting more.
