Basic dry chem Extinguishers are good for garage such as a all purpose ABC one and one for the car a BC dry chem one is good. I had a catalog on them from Amerex but I lost it some where. They do make a clean agent system for office buildings for computer area that dont harm the computers but Im not sure its the same for autos. If you want a good extinguisher and not just a throw away one you can contact a Fire extinguisher company. There are a lot in the area but there is a big company thats in south plainfield not sure of the name but its where the My fire dept gets theres filled and replaced.
