1150 dominator is a race carb, no choke. Is this a 350 pontiac motor or a chevy motor? Edelbrock makes carb / intake / cam kits which I hear work well on chevys. If its a pontiac motor and your looking strictly for preformance gains IMO save your cash unless you do heads as well. Chevy has a good manifold into head design where aftermarket parts will make a noticable difference. I dont know about pontiac, buick, oldsmobile, cadallac tho. If your looking for better throttle responce, smoother idle, easier start up and the rochester is not providing you with that I would try to rebuild it at first. Submerge the metering block in the dip for 30 min and replace all the parts in the carb which come in the kit. Clean off the metering rods and check float depth. invest $15 in running new vaccume lines and carb gasket. Other options are holley street avenger or street demon i think their called, and the regular edelbrock or carter spread bore 600cfm 4 barrels which require an adapter to the manafold or a new square bore manafold.
