Thats cool, good info, I have a 2002 Z28 with boltons and I bought the OEM 2000-2004 Z06 clutch which is still sitting in my closet. I'll get around to it one day. Way i figure, Z06 clutch for the vette LS6 and camaro LS1 are similar as they are both produced by Valero and share the same flywheel and disk but the difference between the two is the pressure plate. The Z06 has more clamping force. I dont know by how much, but I know that GM issues different P/N's between the two. At first I had people telling me that it was the same clutch but after reserching it, the 12570806 (Z06 clutch) i bought is indeed an upgrade. I hate clutch chatter and since my car is only lightly modded and gets 344hp at the rear wheels I figured thats a safe way to get an upgrade while still maintaining a stock peddle feel and quiet operation. Now in my brothers case he has an LT4 with BBK intake ported plenum, head work, headders, cam, PCM tune etc etc. so what upgrade does he get with out risking crappy enguagement or chatter? YOu cant get a OEM Borg Warner upgrade, or can you? Im looking to get him a decent replacement clutch. IF anyone on here has something id rather buy local, if not, I will point him toards something on-line. Thanks for your imput
