yea he definetly did not go out on good terms w/ the sox, but it seems like he keeps them in the running because they are a winning team. the 'stros are convenient being as close to his real 'home' as they are. i believe all 3 teams made offers last year, and the clemens 'stipulations' were part of the deal to be worked out before any signings were made. as this year i dont know bout the sox or yanks, but the 'stros met with clemens a month ago or so to see if he was going to retire or still considering them and throwing a preliminary offer out there to consider. bottom line, clemens is a mercenary now, he doesn't particularly care (IMO) which colors he wears, just as long as he is wearing them soaked with champagne. we'll have to wait and see
