. as what bubba said only the honest/law abiding citizen gets screwed when they make laws, criminals 99% of the time dont buy the gun from a gun store, its from jamal on the corner, or they obtain it from a straw purchase. In the case of the straw purchase the gun store owner has no idea what happens to that gun after it leaves the store, as long as its legit at the time of sale its ok to sell it to that person.
